A few Kreier/Krier tidbits...
Herman Krier came to the United States from Germany when he was 17. When he was 21 he sent for his wife to join him.
William Kreier's wife came to the United States from Sweden when she was 16 years of age. While on the ship her money was stolen so she was almost sent back to Sweden.
William Kreier and his wife's journey out west took several years, which eventually ended in Washinton
( after some time in Oregon)
where they built a
log cabin to finally settle.
David Kreier often spoke of fond memories of the Dakota's and wanted to
go back to visit there, but never did.
